About AMOS, Vocal coach:

Amos Evans (Nashville-based Voice Coach, Producer, & Keyboardist) brings 20 years of musical training, a contemporary touch, and bold faith to every song and production. His own recording career includes projects by industry giants like Josh Groban, Jelly Roll, Jennifer Hudson, and Kim Burrell. As a coach, Amos utilizes a combination of both vocal technique and ear training to help vocalists master the mechanics of the voice while learning to steward the sound they create. Amos’ work is upheld by his world-class education at Carnegie Mellon University (the official school for the “Tony Awards”), followed by certificates in Vocal Instruction at the BAST program (in Manchester, U.K.) and Audio Engineering at Cue Recording Center for the Arts (VA). Amos still gains inspiration from his mentors, coaches for Chris Stapleton, Taylor Swift, and the like. Today, Amos partners with record labels in Nashville and beyond to empower artists as they share their voices with the world.

PROFESSIONAL 1:1 VOCAL TRAINING

  • Virtual coaching is the mode of choice for many artists today, providing convenient training while on tour or after a long day at work. Virtual coaching is extremely effective, thanks to technology and vocal pedagogy. We’ll use visual and aural assessments for resonance & pitch, recordings, exercise libraries, live chat and messaging apps to reach your goals, on the go.

  • On-site coaching is recommended for live recordings, at studio sessions, TV appearances, or auditions. Backstage coaching for live tours / concerts may include pre-soundcheck and intermission voice care. Clients may request coaching at a studio, home, or other venue within reasonable distance.

  • Clients may Purchase Credits for sessions or book individual appointments for coaching. Special offers & discount codes are released in my newsletter (subscribe here).

  • Coaching is intended for all vocalists seeking professional training (e.g. recording artists, background vocalists, new singers, and even children). Vocalists under the age of 18 must be accompanied and co-sign with a parental guardian. All singers are expected to train for live performance.
